Born on the 16 June 1981 to David Manuel and Angeline Crouch in Bontiheuwel Cape Town. The routes of Mervyn Crouch runs very deep in the ambits of the African Methodist Episcopal Church. Grow up in the St.John's AME Church, Kensington where he played a very important role in the local church youth activities as well as in the Minister's faternal. Was elected to the Presidency of the Young People's Division for 4 years and the served and the Area YPD President for 1 year, then elected as the Cape Annual Conference YPD Ass Recording Secretary and then as the Communication Secretary. Mervyn Crouch then later on graduate for the YPD and then formed part of the Board Of Christian Education where he served as the Treasurer for 6 consecutive years.

 

After being a member of St.John's, Mervyn on a later stage transferred to Mother Bethel Memorial AME Church, Hazendal Cape Town where he used his voice by singing in the church choir until he had to located to Johannesburg in May 2005.

 

Today he is a member of the great FM Gow Memorial AME church, Daveyton Benoni where he is actively involved in the RAYAC and all youth activites.
